Scholarship Application

In order to apply for this scholarship, the candidate must:

1. Be a graduating student of High School planning to further their education at a community college, university, or trade school
2. Provide one of the following:
3. Proof of participation in CHS’s Cord of Service Program with a brief teacher statement stating such along with the number of clocked community service hours

                 OR

1. A letter of recommendation from an individual verifying their involvement within the community. This letter should be provided by a person who has overseen the student’s participation in community events. It may not come from a family member.
2. Complete the school’s general scholarship application.
3. Submit a 300–500 word essay answering the following question:

“Tell about a time you demonstrated leadership in your community, and what impact did it have on those around you?”
